The Comeback Campaign

A visual showing a hypnotherapist or coach looking at a list of past clients

Let’s be real for a second:

If you’ve been a hypnotist, coach, or helper of any kind for more than five minutes, you’ve probably had this experience. You worked with a client, maybe got some great results, and then… that was it. The end.

No follow-up. No newsletter. No touch point. Just silence.

And you’re not alone. We’ve spoken to so many people in the Pykthos community who’ve told us some version of: “Yeah, I generally finish working with clients and never talk to them again.”

That’s a problem. And not just because it’s leaving money on the table … it’s also leaving transformation unfinished.

A split-screen comparison showing: on one side, a practitioner finishing a session and walking away (representing the typical "end and forget" approach), and on the other side, an ongoing relationship with follow-ups, check-ins, and continued growth

This is exactly why you should be using a CRM (like the one we give you through the Pykthos platform), tagging your clients properly, and continuing the relationship even after a program ends. But even if you haven’t done that yet… it’s not too late.

So what do you actually do with those past clients you haven’t talked to in ages?

You launch a Comeback Campaign. It’s a super simple re-engagement strategy that opens the door to new conversations, repeat business, and powerful marketing content.

Why You’re Missing Out

Past clients are your warmest prospects. They already know you. They’ve already experienced your work. They already trust you.

Compare that to a cold lead who just found you on Instagram. It’s a no brainer. Not a contest at all.

A clear comparison visual showing a "warm prospect" (past client with trust indicators, history icons, positive relationship symbols) versus a "cold prospect"

But most practitioners never think to reconnect. They assume if the client needed more help, they’d reach out.

Here’s the truth: life gets busy. Even people who love your work forget to reach out. Sometimes they don’t realize there’s more work they could do with you. Sometimes they just need a nudge.

That’s what this campaign is all about. It’s a simple, personal nudge to reignite the connection and open the door to working together again.

The Comeback Campaign (Step-by-Step)

A clean, numbered workflow showing the three steps

Step 1: Make a list of all your past clients.

If you’ve got a CRM already - great. Pull a report of whatever tag you use to track paid clients. If you don’t have that yet, just go through your calendar or email history and jot down names. Then keep in mind, for later, you really should have a system in place to make this easy.

Step 2: Send a super simple email.

Something like:

Hey [Name],

I was thinking about our work together the other day and just wanted to check in — how have things been going lately?

- Chris

That’s it!

No agenda or call to action. It’s just a simple re-engagement email to see if your past client is open to replying. Keep it casual, but make it personal if you can.

Step 3: If they respond, follow the conversation where it goes.

Don’t pitch them. Be human. If they bring up something new they’re working on … that’s your opportunity to offer another round of sessions or a new package. If they’re doing great - celebrate that! And if they’re just floating offer some help to get clarity.

What If They Don’t Need More Sessions? Ask for the Interview

Not everyone is going to rebook. That’s fine.

But if they had a good experience, ask if they’d be willing to do a quick Zoom interview about the transformation they got from working with you.

It doesn’t have to be long or fancy. Just hit record on Zoom and ask:

  • Where were you before we started working together?

  • What was it like working together?

  • What’s different in your life now?

That’s gold. You can now:

  • Use clips for social proof and testimonials

  • Turn it into a “client story” post or email

  • Build your credibility without writing a word

Optional: if it’s a fit, ask them to leave a Google or Facebook review. You’re just stacking value from one single reconnection.

One Email. Many Wins.

This is what marketing for people-helpers looks like when it’s done right. It’s human, it’s honest, and it’s useful.

Your old clients are not done with you. They’re just waiting for a reason to re-engage.

Send the email. Start the conversation. Invite them back into the work.

This is your Comeback Campaign. Use it.
